Welcome
I'm Dan (trailname: AlphaPig). I run AT shuttles primarily in the Penn-Mar state line to Front Royal, VA range (more info on specific shuttles below).
Parking in Harpers Ferry
Here’s some info about the parking options I’m aware of:
Below are some of my more common shuttles. Prices are total (as opposed to per/person) and are the same regardless of which way you go. (ie, Pen-mar to HF is the same price as HF to Pen Mar). I'm happy to shuttle between any two trailheads. If you don't see an option below that fits your need, just let me know when you email and I can give you pricing.

Parking in Harpers Ferry
Here’s some info about the parking options I’m aware of:
- HF Main Parking: Most folks park at the Harpers Ferry Parking lot on 171 Shoreline Drive, but you need to reach out to the NPS first and it’s not free. I believe it’s $10 or $20, but not sure. Here’s the page with that info.
- Hotels: I’ve also picked up folks at the Quality Inn and Clarion Inn and I believe they allow for free parking if you stay overnight there. There are also various BNBs in the HF area that likely allow for free parking.
- HF Train Station: This fills up quickly on weekday mornings and nice weekends, so not all that reliable. It’s actually owned by the National Park Service, and it’s not free. Also, I don’t believe they allow for overnight parking, so probably only good for day hikes.
- Map: Here’s a link to a map of all of the locations mentioned above, as well as the various trailheads in the area.
